Sure enough. I have one in my yard, and I noticed one in the yard at work today. Coincidentally, our landscaper was on-site today and I asked him about it. "Kousa dogwood," he said.

Last place I lived it was a very popular landscaping tree and they were everywhere. Yellow jackets *really* like the fruit too, which made for fun times when the fruit were dropping everywhere. |
