Rather than add to my previous thread about the holiday weekend in the Black Hills, I'm providing this:

https://www.myworldevents.com/...ng/media-player.html

And a note that the Blue Angels as well as B1-B bombers from the local Ellsworth AFB will be doing flyovers at Mt. Rushmore. Neat video of both practicing yesterday:

Mount Rushmore Fireworks, July 3rd

We'll have all the best TV and live stream links here on the day of the show - we expect coverage on national news channels including Fox News and CNN, as well as on local TV networks such as KOTA TV:

KOTA TV live stream
https://www.kotatv.com/livestream/

Fox News Live

A Capitol Fourth

The Capitol Fourth concert is shown live on PBS in the United States, and as such is now also available to watch as a live stream online - you can watch the whole event live here:

PBS live stream
http://www.pbs.org/a-capitol-fourth/home/

This year they will also be streaming live on the event's official Facebook page:

Capitol Fourth live stream

Macy's 4th July fireworks, New York City

The updated show on 4th July 2020 will be streamed live by NBC, between 8 and 10pm ET - watch the live stream here:

Macy's 4th July on NBC
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/live/

We're unsure as yet as to whether there will be any live coverage of the earlier events, but in any case an excellent option for fireworks viewing in NYC is to check out some of the webcam views - New York has absolutely loads of them - and they can give you a unique perspective not just on the official display but any fireworks being launched across the city:

New York webcams

Washington DC Salute to America fireworks

Live stream coverage usually also continues straight after the Capitol Fourth concert, so you can use the viewing links for PBS and Facebook above to watch there.

There is also coverage of the fireworks expected on CBS live:

CBS live stream
https://www.cbsnews.com/live/

For something a little different there are several excellent streaming webcams in Washington DC that will afford a good view of the fireworks, not least the ones looking right at the Washington Monument:

AF-1 has arrived at EAFB and the President and his party is departing for Mt Rushmore via Marine-1.

Watching things live on one of our local channels. Gov Kristi Noem, Sens Thune and Rounds, among others greeting the President and First lady.

Earlier a large force of National Guard troops showed up to augment local LEOs after the protesters pushed against the riot shields of LEOs. This at Keystone, the City of Mt Rushmore.

I don't think these shitferbrains know how tough our law enforcement is. Just ask any of the dumbasses who tried to bring drugs into our state or violate laws during Sturgis as an example. Huge fines and long sentences. No pussyfooting around here in flyover country!
Big Grin

In addition to the Blue Angels, there are 3 C-17s, 4 Ospreys, and Marine-1 plus a backup deployed to EAFB.

I made a nice steak dinner tonight despite the heat. Too many glasses of wine saw me breaking a semi-sacred trust.

I had traded off a shit load of nice cigars for high end booze back in 2006 following my heart attack. I did keep one humidor with a selection of favored sticks. I have religiously kept them properly humidified all theses years.

Well with my buzz from dinner wine and psyched from tonight's event I grabbed a Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story from the sacred stash and my long unused Xikar cutter and lit it up with a side of Redbreast Cask Strength. Oh my! Smooth, creamy, beautiful smoke and a great double dram. I should feel guilty having given up smokes since my heart attack in April 2006, but damn if this occasion doesn't make me feel absolutely fantastic!

God bless the USA, President Trump, Gov Noem, and other righteous Americans of true GRIT!

The South Dakota Governor is speaking now.

That's it. Just passing that on.

There are a couple of governors that have really shown proper leadership this year. There is very little reason the "R" ticket should not have a female on the ticket in 2024...

Haven't seen a single person covering his or her face at this event. Makes things almost feel normal, and one almost forgets all the crap going on right now

Trump just started speaking.

Yes amazing speech. What sets it up for me are all the local/distant fireworks that are being set off here.
Not loud or annoying. Just nice background noise.
