And I liked it.

This could get expensive.

I took the P320c I bought at TGS this weekend to the range today and put 200 rounds through it. WOW! Talk about different. It was flawless and I shot well with it. I really like the trigger.

I am going to have to pick up the Calex kit for 357sig if I decide this will be my daily carry since they did not have any pistols in that cal in stock.

Is this like the Katy Perry song? I really need to go try a striker fire. In CA I'm thinking a Glock30 would be pretty perfect for CCW, given that 10rd mag max. A consistent trigger pull, and a bit longer pull, didn't bother you much?

I was very pleasantly surprised with the P320. I could never stand a Glock but love the P320 ergonomics.

I went to look at buying a P320 and just couldn't... it's too similar to my P2022. I had to do something a little more different, ended up with an XDmod2 instead.

My take on this is that similar is good. I want things that operate the same way. That's why I regretfully sold my H&K P7, which was a rally great pistol, and bought a SIG P245, which is a sibling of my P228 and P239. I think I'm done buying pistols, with these I have all that I need, maybe more than I need. Yeah, I know that's considered blasphemy by those of you who have dozens or maybe hundreds, but I only have two hands.

So what do you have against Glocks?

My grandson is a Special Forces weapons specialist and that is his preferred gun. He carries a G20.

I too am not fond of Glocks, they are a fine, reliable firearm, but they just do not feel natural or comfortable in my hand. I have shot a few, just don't like the feel.

After the 2nd mag the trigger felt natural and I really did not think about it. Consistently is good.

I have never shot a glock, the few times I held one I just did not like how it felt but for whatever the reason, the P320 felt more natural when I first pick one up. I've been on the fence about giving one a go for most of the last year.

I like mine well enough, but it doesn't blow me away, pardon the pun. IOW, it doesn't magically shoot any better than my DA/SA CZ P-07, maybe a little easier, is all. It has, however, been flawless as of 300 rounds.

If he has any left, a crosscreekguns.com who advertises in Classifieds is a good place to get magazines for the C (9mm 15-round). One I ordered was shipped promptly, on par with Greg Cote.

I'm with you with in the "similar is good" camp. I picked up my 229 to carry after having my 226 for years. Then I picked up my 225. That's part of the reason I took so long to decide to pick up the 320.

While l am probably going to sell the 225, I can't see myself getting rid of the 226 or 229 even if the 320 becomes my daily carry gun and I expand into that platform.
