Iphone Experts - Remote Control Options
I have a small fleet of Iphones that I use. I know that some of the Android phones have the ability to access them remotely. Listen to the microphone, launch the camera, see what's on the screen, etc.

Is there any such thing along those lines that can be done with the Iphones? I know hackers and apps have access to some of those features, but does the phone owner have anything they can use?

For example, let's say I wanted to leave a phone in a work truck that's parked on a remote work site and I wanted to take an occasional look at the camera to see what's going on, but at the same time I want the phone to be usable as a phone otherwise.

The oldest phone I have at the moment is a 14, and they are owned by me (or my company), so I have full access and authority to put whatever on them I'd like.

The Apple Watch allows you to remotely control the camera on a paired iPhone, include using the camera as a monitor and viewing it on the watch.

Will that work over a substantial distance, or do you have to be in near proximity? In some of these situations I may be several states away from the phone.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but my watch will work at any distance so long as both are connected to a wifi-network. I believe Smartwatches will do the same.

Some desired functions are easier used with an accompanying app on my Garmin.

Bluetooth-enabled communications will obviously have the distance restrictions.
