Who doesn’t need one of those. It would make driving in Houston traffic more tolerable.

Cool!
I have this sudden, odd desire for a custom Airstream built to those parameters. Can't Account for it.

From Dillon's CEV website, the minigun is fed by a 3,000 round magazine and additional magazine capacity available as option. That's 1 minute of holding down the fun button continuously unless somebody opted for the faster firing version which dispenses entire magazine in 45 seconds.

I’ve seen that before and thought this is a great solution to road rage.

Get rid of the NFA and these guys would have an awesome product.

In the original minigun I think that was only 30 seconds worth of ammo.

Probably a lot of AI going on there. You see the vehicle driving through what appears to be a business park full of cars and buildings while he is shooting 360°. I’m sure he caused many deaths and tens of thousands of dollars in damage in the making of this video for demonstration purposes.

Awesome. I just need a scaled down version. Like one that can deploy from behind my headlights.

I think this is an old vid before AI. If it's the one I've seen in the past, looks like it, it's from early 2000's. I could be wrong though.

It's shooting blanks. You can see the long-bodied profile of the crimped blank cartridges.

@rangeme101, firing blanks completely make sense, but it still has to be crazy loud being in that business park.

I've was in A-4 and F-4 ordnance, and I dealt with guns. However, the miniguns we flew were in a pod, so all I did was load and arm them. Of course, everything we loaded was live - never blanks. To me, for something that needs to load as fast and as problem-free like that minion would need rounds(pointies) as to not have feeding problems. Again, if that guns was firing blanks, it makes it plausible it wasn't AI. IF he had been firing live rounds, he WOULDN'T have been doing it in that business park.

My exposure to miniguns was minimal, but it was intimate enough that I got a vague idea of how they work. I recall them being very deliberate in their operation. It could be that they run blanks just fine. That or Dillon can tweak them in a way that enables smooth operation with blanks. I assume the military uses them in demonstrations and training, which would suggest that they work fine with blanks, or can be easily made to.
