Captain MorganHistoric aircraft....
The Vulcan was the only plane to drop a bomb on the Argentinian runway during the Falklands War. It was an incredible mission.
As far as old bombers are concerned I prefer the F111.
For propellers give me a A26.

LoswsmithSpeaking of Vulcans, I just watched
Thunderball for the umpteenth time to start off the holiday movie season (and look, I have my own definition of holiday movies, don't @ me). Lots of good shots of them there.

Where is the not sure if serious meme?
Those red discs are covers for the engine exhausts to keep foreign objects out. Often used at air shows where spectators will be around your aircraft or longer term storage.
If you were kidding my bad.

nhtagmemberIn addition to the XB70 which is the only reason I want to go to the USAF museum, there are a few other what I call elegant platforms.
The Blackbird for sure but I’m also partial to the B1
Fortunately we have a few of them at the Pima Air and Space museum as well as DMAFB boneyard.
