Mike Tyson's Bum-of-the-Week Insomnia Mitigation Program
If you think Tyson vs Ruddock was more compelling than matches that included the likes of Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton and Holmes, and I am sure I am missing another or two I understand.
In my mind there is absolutely no comparison.
Mind you I am comparing Tyson with those mentioned above. It would of been great to have him in the mix during the primes of those other great boxers.
But Tyson's career was not in a era anything like his predecessor's.

I lived in Reno Nv in the late 80s. We were big boxing fans, I agree Tyson was the heaviest puncher in my lifetime. I never got to see him live. I have seen a lot of great fights in person. We got to see “hands of stone” fight (Roberto Duran) an exhibition (well past his prime)but still fun to watch. I also met and talked with Mills Lane a few times. I never had enough time to ask him about Tyson biting off Holyfield ear. Sorry if to far off topic. I loved boxing back then.

I wonder how they got him to put on the gloves. I’ve watched his podcast and people have asked him to do that or even teach and he says it’s not going to happen because he doesn’t like the person he was at the time and just being in the gym he can feel the evil creeping back in.

I grew up watching Tyson, he was so exciting to watch. The only trouble was getting the Pay-Per-View and feeling robbed.
