On YouTube (yeah, I know I know, but Matt's Offroad Recovery is the ONLY thing I am subscribed to there), I keep getting ads for "manscaping" products.

Then I read the "Google Trackers on Sggforum" thread today, and recalled I opened a thread a while back here that talked about manscaping.

And now I just glanced at the "This Video and Lotion Changed My Life" thread.

There's no telling what will show up on the Matt's Offroad Recovery ads now....

No comment for the Youtube ads but I have watched and enjoyed Matt's Offroad Recovery

My thread got locked on that google tracker. I wasn’t trying to criticize the forum. Just trying to figure out what it meant. Unfortunately the tech savvy folks explain things with terms I don’t understand. Oh well. In any case it seems google is damn good at following what we browse. I’m even convinced Alexa listens to us and amazon puts ads for things we talked about.

The brave browser seems to defeat this tracking. I’m liking it so far.

It is more likely that your data shows you are male of a certain age demographic, rather than anything posted here.

There is a major ad campaign, it seems, by Manscaped, and their ads are usually targeted by the type of video. For example, they are aggressively advertising on video game content channels. A few of the channels I watch actually have paid sponsorships within the content itself.
