Just had my first experience with Discount (actually America's Tire) last month. We bought four new tires for the SUV, painless, great service in and out quickly with their appointment system. No issues, and a positive first go around. Will use them again.

I too went to them oneday to get a slow leak checked and patched. They repaired the leak. I asked them how much for the repair and they told me FREE and they just wanted to make sure I was OK. I purchased my tires from them when my 1996 Nissan 300ZXTT needed new tires. Excellent service. I highly recommend them. God Bless !!! Smile

I've bought so many sets of tires from Discount Tire I joked with the local store manager they needed to start something like a frequent flyer program. If they had one of these programs, I'd have racked up at least one set of free tires by now. Smile I've had nothing but positive experiences with Discount Tire and would recommend them to anyone needing tires.

Sadly, my last two visits to my nearest one were disappointing both times.

A few months ago, I bought new tires there for my work vehicle on a Sat. morning, and one of the tires were completely flat an hour after I got home. I pumped it back up with my hand pump and limped over there. The valve stem was not installed correctly. Good thing it was a Saturday and I went straight home. If I had driven as I do on a work day, it would have been nasty, as it was rainy. Send corporate an email and I got a terse apology from a regional manager and nothing else.

A month or so later, I found a nail and scheduled a repair at the same location at 5PM. Got it patched quickly, but couldn't get more than two blocks before getting a TPM warning.

Turned back to get it fixed and the guy was annoyed at me for coming back so near closing time. Whipped out his reader and reset the sensor. Acted like he did me a big favor, and annoyed again when I ask him to replace the stem cap that went missing during the patch. I noted down his name and contemplated writing to corporate again, but decided not to. They didn't do anything the first time, no reason to expect different the second time. Roll Eyes
