Considering a Burris AR-332 / fastfire 3 combo pack which looks like a very good deal if the optics are any good. Both are 3 MOA.

The AR-332 would be for a 556 or maybe a 762 - which from what I was told by the LGS could easily be done.

The fastfire 3 could be mounted on top of the Ar-332 or I was thinking on a shotgun.

Anyone here use either of these optics?

Was told they come with a forever warranty which sounds super.

I have been toying with a Trijicon ACOG but the price is still a little steep - If I only needed one then I would go for the ACOG, but in my case I would need several ACOG's.

I don't want to purchase garbage so any help would be appreciated..

I have an AR-332 on a 556 AR and I'm impressed with it. I've shot it out to 200 yrd with no issues seeing the target. The etched reticle is great because it shows up without having to turn on the illuminated dot, even in low light. I don't know if I would put it on a 762 because the BDC is made to work with 223/556 rifles.

On the downside, it has a fairly short eye relief and I had to remove the rear sight to keep it in focus. I don't have the Fastfire 3 so can't comment on that.

After all is said and done, I'd buy it again if I had to.

Jim

I like my AR332 very much. The drop calibration is fixed on the reticle, but in the manual there are conversions for 5 different weights of .556 and 2 different weights of 7.62. If you understand your zero, round, and conversion, you can use the drop compensation for multiple calibers and bullets.

I'm glad you corrected me on the 762 statement. I was unaware of the conversions. I haven't looked at the manual since getting the sight 3 years ago. Smile

For me, the downside of the sight is that it is a bit heavy. Not a problem from a balance standpoint, as it goes right over the pistol grip, but you do notice it if you carry the gun.

Fastfire III is good to go. I have one on a couple 5.56 and a shotgun.
Buy one, if it is a good deal.
