Can any members recommend a good tax accountant near Fairfax or Alexandria, VA?

Not in that area but as a pro CPA, here is my 2 cents. Multi member LLC is a partnership and requires a partnership return. partnership tax is no baby's game so I recommend that you locate someone with specific partnership tax experience and further having experience with your industry. Unless you get a specific referral to someone with that background, you might consider contacting the VA Society of CPA's as a place to start, then make contact and ask for their references that you may contact specific to partnership tax matters.

My guy is on the Eastern Shore of MD, so not around the corner, but I highly recommend him. And he's a SIG guy - Erik Quisgard, CPA in Berlin, MD. He'll be happy to talk guns for at least as long as CPA work and not charge you for it.

I've used Halt Buzas Powell in Alexandria for 20+ years. They've done my personal taxes, business taxes, LLC's, S-corp, c-corp, etc, overseas taxes and every state that I've lived in. All with a personal / small firm feel when dealing with my affairs but I feel they have the resources to do it all. I started using them when I was living and working in Northern Virginia, but continued the relationship as I moved elsewhere. I can give you specific names in the firm if you are interested or need a point of contact to discuss your situation.
