The way I put it is my goal is to die as young as possible, as late as possible Smile

Not necessarily, though it might certainly make for faster and greater progress.

He's not really all that big. He's just exceptionally lean by today's standards. Based on the charts below: I'd say ±15%.

Right now I'm closer to ±17%. Probably "+", if I'm being honest Wink

akcopnfbks, that's an awesome story about your mother. Well-done, the both of you. You for getting her into the gym, her for putting in the work.

I try to tell people: You don't have to live this way. But you gotta be willing to pay your dues.

He's said so, publicly.

I'm not interested, either. My total T is ok. My free T is low. I'm trying Tonkat Ali and Boron supplementation for that. I'll know the next time I get a blood panel.

My body fat's going down, I'm getting stronger, and I've got muscle definition pretty much everywhere, now. so I'm happy.

Abs are still more than half-buried in fat and my quads are lagging. Diet will take care of the abs. For the legs I added a leg sled to the gym last summer and a safety squatter bar at Christmas so I could really go after them.

That is awesome! Smile Your hard work is obviously paying off. Not sure what my body fat % is, my trainer said he thought I was in the high teens. I got a lot of scar tissue in my abdomen, my abs were cut in half during 2013 abdominal surgery plus I had gall bladder removed in 2021 so my ab modeling days are over anyway. Big Grin I might pay the $100 to get a DEXA scan at some point to find out more details including bone density.

I am mostly concerned about my vitamin D levels right now. A year ago I was tested and level was 25 which is low (30-100 is recommended range) and I had been taking 7000 IU daily Red Face . Doc gave me prescription of 50K megadoses weekly for 12 weeks and in late May it was 56. I took 5000 IU daily all summer, worked in yard with shirt off and shorts, bumped up to 7000 IU in October, and was tested again late December and it was down to 33. Now I am doing 13,000 IU daily since it is winter and will get tested again probably next month. IMHO my level should be at least 50 to be considered optimal. Back in early December about I found myself getting unusually tired during workouts. After I bumped my vitamin D intake shortly after that resolved. I make sure I take my vitamin D with fat, usually a hard boiled Egg and a glass of 2 percent milk. As you probably know vitamin D is important for a lot of reasons including T production.
