Is it just me or is Las Vegas shooting not adding up?

Maybe it's just me but I can't fathom what kind of person could do this (other than terrorists)?

I also don't understand how the hotel couldn't possibly notice someone carrying in, what, 20+ rifles?

How did he break the glass windows without notice?

This is something out of a movie and it is all not making sense to me (yet)?
