Well… that was pretty damn quick.



Anyone who hasn’t been to Africa should really try to get here before WWIII destabilizes everything.

Started in Cape Town, been in Kruger for a couple of days. Leaving for Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe and Zambia sides) tomorrow, then Chobe, and then a couple of days in the Kalahari before we come home. It’s a bit of a whirlwind, but every bit as amazing as we had hoped so far.

Except for Delta. More on that when I get back and feel like I’m in a good enough place to elevate my BP by thinking about it.

Delta has really been stepping up their game.
They recently just changed a reservation made 9 months ago. (Friend is traveler). Change would cause him to miss the event he's going to. New return takes him Vegas to Atlanta (9 hour connection) then back to Mexico City vs the direct fight he had booked. They did this one week out.
When he called to discuss they basically told him to STFU. Their terms of service allowed the change and that's what they were doing.
He ended up having to extend a day on both ends in order to make the event costing him two additional nights lodging in Vegas.
Now I understand sometimes flights change but the way they treated him was way out of line. He travels a lot so knows the ropes and is one of the nicest people I know.
