Has this ever happened to you? I have att.net email. Once in a while, emails from 2 completely different correspondences I was having with 2 different folks suddenly merge into one. Just today, my correspondences with the 2 winners of the Riddle Karma just fused together. WTH? Q

You’d have to provide more information. What computer, what mail client? Once that’s figured out, it will get down to settings (view as threads, or whatever they call it vs old school, every message is an island), etc.

I've had it happen (using gmail) if the subject lines happen to be identical and my settings are set to group conversations together (or whatever your email client calls it). It's a PITA when it happens, but you should be able to reverse it if a setting like that was the cause. -Rob I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888 A=A

Apple mail will do the same thing, based on subject line, until you uncheck the “group” feature. Then mail goes back to normal. The “lol” thread
