Finally came to the realization that , at my age, shit happens. If something happens to me while on a trip in either my 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo (6 speed) or the 1998 Dodge 2500 4X4 (5 speed) my wife could not get me or herself home. She absolutely can't drive a stick. We do have a 2015 Volvo XC60 that spends most of its life on the garage. Today I traded both the Dodge and the Veloster for a 2019 Chebby Colorado LT 4X4.

Nice Truck! Seems similar in size to a Toyo Taco. I like Chevy/GMC trucks.....Been using one or the other to haul stuff for years.

Nice! The "mid-size truck" has come a long way! (My 2001 Ranger XLT was $11,600 out the door).

Did it take eons to complete the transaction? Their appraisal guy spending time with your trade-ins, or was it quick and painless?

Good looking truck. I had a 4 on the floor when we got married. I tried to teach my new bride to drive a stick. After two lessons I knew it was going to be easier to trade it for an automatic. Smile

I sold vehicles for years. Selling a red truck or convertible was about as easy as it got. That is a nice looking truck.

Great looking truck. I’m always amazed at how large the “midsizers” have become.

Curious how it compares in size to your Dodge. That’s probably about as much truck as most people ever need.

Congrats! We bought a Colorado about 6 mo ago. Found the ride better than a Taco. Since it will be a mulch hauler rather than a work truck, we felt it best for us. Wife really likes. So far no trouble. Neighbor with older model had some transmission trouble. Hope Chevy fixed that!

The Dodge was an Extended cab, 2500, long bed. It was a beast to maneuver in tight places, and rode like a three legged mule, very stiff suspension. This Chevy is a crew cab, short bed and really handles well. I had to take it in to downtown Little Rock this morning, no problem at all, and it actually fits in my garage.

You should like it. My father has 25k-ish on his 17. Says it rides like a car, but he came from an fx4 ranger so... I have been eyeing a used one locally, but I've gotten used to no car payment.
Congratulations and I really like that color.

No payments, so there's that. I looked at a white Red Line, but this Cajun Red really caught my eye, almost identical to my Flamenco Red Volvo.
