This is compelling and I'd like to know more. Curious about some of the guided hunts on Lana'i, not interested in the public land hunt.

We shoot axis off the farm, regularly. I think it’s the main protein source for my brother’s family.

They are tasty - especially if you dry age the carcass a few days.


No idea where lanai is.

If you accidentally shoot an axis fawn, split it half and cook it on a smoker. They are delicious
