I bought a quart of Trader Joes Egg Nogg today.

WOW, that stuff is GOOD. The ingredients look pretty clean, sugar, cream, milk, natural flavors, no preservatives or corn syrup etc.

Do you guys like this stuff ? I certainly DO, what a nice after dinner desert during the Holidays.

Big Trader Joe fan here… favorite grocery store by far and a lot of their products are fantastic…

But I don’t like the egg nog. The rest of the family does, however.

However… I don’t like most egg nogs… in fact, the only one I enjoy (in limited quantities) is the Southern Comfort brand. It’s tasty.

And full of high fructose corn syrup unfortunately. I try to avoid egg nog that isn't made with natural ingredients. It doesn't surprise me that Trader Joe's is made with the good stuff. Good to know

Yep. One of the reasons I like Trader Joe’s is their relatively simple ingredient lists. HFCS WILL give me a headache every time I have some, so I almost never do, and we don’t purchase very many products that include it as a general rule. We’ve only had one carton of the SC eggnog this year, and it was before thanksgiving.

I'm not a fan of straight eggnog but it's great when thinned a bit with some milk. And rum. Or bourbon. Or Buffalo Trace bourbon cream courtesy of another thread here.

Kirkland eggnog is ready to serve WITH spirits already added; it’s quite good. We have an old family recipe that takes like 3 days to make. Saw the Kirkland at Costco and thought, “hey, let’s try it.”

My youngest son drinks eggnog like milk. The other day he made some outlandish comment about how many calories are in a glass. Something two thousand; no one believed it until it was googled and it came back at 1500 cal per pint.

At Christmas I asked his fiancé if they had any eggnog in the refrigerator, and she turned to look at me and said “we have enough“… Lol

He has to go burn all that shit off…
