I found saddleback leather through sigforum a very long time ago, I am brand loyal at this point. My baby beast and backpack have been many places with me. The flightbag is a daily work companion. I recently became are of this company that does “upgrades” to the bags. Man o werro? I’d seen photos of these but never really understood it. Now I am curious if anyone here has ever gone this route? If you are interested in really quality stuff SBL is top notch, I highly recommend it over just about anything else. The baby beast always gets a compliment from TSA etc. NRA Training Counselor NRA Benefactor Member

Short. Fat. Bald. Costanzaesque. |
I've never used him, but he always gets great kudos on the SBL Fakebook pages, people love his work. I'm not a fan of changing appearances of original equipment so there's my 2-cents. ___________________________ He looked like an accountant or a serial-killer type. Definitely one of the service industries.

I’ve never used him but he’s well respected. I don’t see the need to upgrade anything I’ve gotten from saddleback. DISCLAIMER: These are the author's own personal views and do not represent the views of the author's employer.

I agree…my Saddleback stuff is already perfect. And I love it. My daily bag is a flight bag that I use to carry my work computer and things to and fro. Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard. -JALLEN "All I need is a WAR ON DRUGS reference and I got myself a police thread BINGO." -jljones

I only have his wallets. I love them. One of them the stitching was coming loose and I called. He had me send a picture and sent a replacement and told me to keep the “bad” one. It truly was coming undone, looked not right, and they aren’t cheap which is why I wanted it replaced. Not trying to steal one. I took a tiny pair of scissors trimmed it up, oiled it up with their leather milk, and started using it. I figured it would eventually unravel that edge. That sucker still hasn’t moved beyond the stitch or two that were initially undone. I would buy again.
