Today is day 4 of what feels like a very minor cold. Slight sinus headache, runny nose, very minor sore throat. Today I feel pretty good. Now we are on house arrest for 10 days.

Attending Physician Brian Monahan at the Capitol on Tuesday said he is now advising Congressional members and staff is to wear a “well-fitted” super mask while inside if “other individuals are present.”

The physician said he recommends this due to the members “traveling weekly from various risk areas.” This means he is making it mandatory for members to wear a “well-fitted” super mask, noting that it should be a medical-grade filtration mask, like a surgical mask with an earloop or a KN95, according to him. Members should use them “when they are in an interior space and other individuals are present,” meaning their entire time in Congress.

Monahan wants them worn everywhere: the House Office Buildings, the Halls of the House, and House Committee Meetings. He noted that the masks are now required everywhere, and masks will be provided to those without.

The physician, in his announcement, threatens the members and staff saying individuals will not be allowed to the in the halls if they are not wearing a mask, and those that do not obey will receive fines.

Evidently, while the physician is now requiring these changes, just last year the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with Dr. Anthony Fauci, claimed that wearing a bandanna or cloth mask was fine for Americans. On July 14, 2020, a press release from the CDC encouraged the use of “cloth face masks to slow the spread” of the Chinese coronavirus. Former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield at the time said, “Cloth face coverings are one of the most powerful weapons we have to slow and stop the spread of the virus.”

Earlier in the week, the Biden’s CDC announced they would be backtracking on their previous guidance, now recommending individuals, even those vaccinated, mask up in certain settings. However, the Biden White House had trouble using their normal talking points to express why the administration failed to contain the Chinese coronavirus.

On Tuesday, Fox News’s Peter Doocy pressed Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki, about Biden’s previous stance on the CDC guidance. “Why did the President say, ‘If you’ve been fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask,’” noting “if it was possible that that was going to turn out not to be true?”

Psaki admittingly said, “I think we’re all dealing with an evolving virus where there’s no playbook and no historic precedent.”

She noted there is no “playbook” for dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. But, as Breitbart News reported in the last presidential election, “then-candidate Joe Biden constantly claimed that Trump had set aside a so-called ‘playbook’ that the outgoing Obama-Biden admiration prepared for pandemics.”

Republicans in the House and Senate are already fighting back. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) slammed Biden in an exclusive statement to Breitbart News.

“Until the Biden Administration stops the thousands of people with COVID [Chinese coronavirus] from pouring into our country illegally, then shipping them all over the country, we are going to continue to have waves of outbreak of COVID [Chinese coronavirus],” Gohmert said in reaction to Biden offering an unconditional surrender to the Chinese coronavirus by retreating on mask guidance.

CDC: Studies Propelling Shift in Mask Guidance Not Available

The studies that prompted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to change their mask guidance for vaccinated persons are not available, a spokesperson told The Epoch Times on Wednesday.

“They have not been published yet,” the spokesperson said.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director, told reporters on July 27 that she had seen “new scientific data from recent outbreak investigations” indicating the Delta variant of the virus that causes COVID-19 was presenting more uniquely than other strains.

“Information from several states and other countries indicates that in rare occasions, some vaccinated people infected with the Delta variants after vaccination may be contagious and spread the virus to others,” she said.

That motivated officials at the agency to change masking guidance. Fully vaccinated persons, told two months ago they could stop wearing masks indoors, are now being told to don the coverings when inside.

Multiple states and businesses quickly adopted the recommendations.

But the CDC’s webpage outlining the new advice does not cite any studies or research.

A related science brief linked on the page cites a single study from the United States when discussing the data Walensky mentioned.

That study came from researchers at Houston Methodist, a hospital system in Texas in the news recently for mandating all employees get a COVID-19 vaccine.

Researchers said that the Delta variant caused a higher rate of breakthrough cases, or infections among the vaccinated.

The study is preprint, meaning it is not yet peer-reviewed. The medRxiv platform, which hosts the preprints, warns not to use such studies “to guide clinical practice.”

The CDC also cited “studies from India” that “noted relatively high viral loads and larger cluster sizes associated with infections with Delta, regardless of vaccination status.”

The studies concern vaccines not authorized for use in the United States. The study sourced in footnotes on the page has not been peer-reviewed and was listed as “reject after peer review.”

“These early data suggest that breakthrough Delta infections are transmissible. Unpublished data are consistent with this, and additional data collection and studies are underway to understand the level and duration of transmissibility from Delta vaccine breakthrough infections in the United States and other settings,” the CDC stated.

The CDC spokesperson told The Epoch Times they did not know if the Texas and India studies were used to inform the mask guidance change.

The reason all the vaccinated people are getting the virus is because the unvaccinated people who refuse to get the vaccine are still spreaders to the vaccinated people. Yes this was actually told to me on another forum with nods of agreement all around. I’m sorry there’s just no way to deal with the entire lack of common sense once it reaches this level.

The mutation rate of SARS-CoV-2 is actually slow compared with other RNA viruses. I think it's something like half the rate of the flu, for example. This is due to the coronavirus having a built-in "proofreading" mechanism which by definition limits replication errors.

Coronavirus is a cold virus. It has always mutated very quickly. Any vaccine for it is likely obsolete before it completes development.

Update: Feel pretty much back to normal today (day 4). Cant smell anything, but no fever or chills or any other general illness symptoms. The 8 year old doesnt feel jack, the 4 year old has a mild cough and low fever- acting normal. 5 month old baby just got a fever today and is a bit cranky, thats about it. Wife has a headache but nothing else, her test results cane back positive today. She got the Moderna vaccine in march so we’ll see how it goes for her.

The Pentagon on Wednesday directed that “all individuals” — regardless of vaccination status — wear a mask indoors at Department of Defense (DOD) installations and facilities in areas of “substantial or high transmission” of coronavirus as defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The definition of “substantial” transmission in an area, per the CDC, is 50 to 99.99 new cases in the last seven days per 100,000 persons. The definition of “high” transmission is equal to or more than 100 new cases in the last seven days per 100,000 persons. The CDC posted current rates for specific counties on its website.

Deputy Secretary Hicks has directed that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in indoor settings at Department of Defense installations and facilities in areas of substantial or high transmission, as defined by the CDC, to protect against rising COVID-19 cases. Today’s announcement applies to all service members, federal personnel, contractors, and visitors when indoors at all properties owned by the Department in those areas, in accordance with updated CDC guidelines

The new policy also instructs that the department provide masks for personnel coming onto a DOD installation and that DOD personnel should comply with CDC guidance on where masks should be worn, including in airports.

The first-ever postmortem study of a patient vaccinated against COVID-19 has revealed that viral RNA was found in every organ of the patient’s body, meaning that the vaccine is either ineffective or the coronavirus actually spreads faster in vaccinated individuals.

The scientific report out of Germany published by the International Journal of Infectious Diseases in June examined the autopsy of an 86-year-old man who had received a single dose of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine but died 4 weeks later after becoming infected with the virus by a nearby patient at a hospital.

From the “First case of postmortem study in a patient vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2“:

We report on an 86-year-old male resident of a retirement home who received vaccine against SARS-CoV-2. Past medical history included systemic arterial hypertension, chronic venous insufficiency, dementia and prostate carcinoma. On January 9, 2021, the man received lipid nanoparticle-formulated, nucleoside-modified RNA vaccine BNT162b2 in a 30 μg dose. On that day and in the following 2 weeks, he presented with no clinical symptoms.

On day 18, he was admitted to hospital for worsening diarrhea. Since he did not present with any clinical signs of COVID-19, isolation in a specific setting did not occur. Laboratory testing revealed hypochromic anemia and increased creatinine serum levels. Antigen test and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for SARS-CoV-2 were negative.

But the study notes that by day 25, that vaccinated patient had tested positive for COVID-19, presumably from a nearby COVID-infected patient in his hospital room, and died of kidney and respiratory failure the following day.

SARS-CoV-2 spike proteins were present in nearly all the vaccinated patient’s organs.

“In summary, the results of our autopsy case study in a patient with mRNA vaccine confirm the view that by first dose of vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 immunogenicity can already be induced, while sterile immunity is not adequately developed,” the study concluded.

In other words, although the COVID-19 vaccine triggered an immune response within the body, it didn’t appear to stop the spread of the virus, and therefore the spread of harmful viral spike proteins, throughout the body.

This is just more bombshell scientific evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine likely does more harm than good, and may actually even accelerate the spread of the coronavirus.

The vaccine used is BNT162b2. This is the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine.

All of these new mask and vaccination mandates are for one thing and one thing only - preparation for the slew of statewide executive orders changing the voting rules for 2022. That's it. They saw how well it worked in 2020 and they plan on going bigger and bolder in 2022.

And the republican party could care less.
