I’m saying that you saying they’re doing it in response to most “customer demands” is bullshit.

I don't watch TV much, the other day I turned on TV, every single f#$&ing commercial was about how they could do touchless pizza delivery, seals on all manner of food, dive up food services, cars delivered to your house without setting foot in showrooms, xyz company doing this or that to make your shopping experience safer. Every. Damn. Commercial.

Someone is telling them this is what the customers want.

The same 5 Karens calling repeatedly until the leadership is so tired of hearing about it that they institute a "ban" on whatever bullshit they're complaining about. Ever see a parent cave to a kid that keeps screaming until it gets what it wants? No different and it only takes a few. Think about why we had to go to Richmond earlier this year. Do you think it was because a majority of Virginian's wanted gun control or because of a vocal few Liberals supported by big Democrat donors? Those screeching harpies can cause a lot of mayhem.

To that same end, you notice how many commercials specifically try and convince people of "The new normal" we're all apparently supposed to be a part of? Those are the commercials that are really pissing me off given the obvious attempt to re-from public perception to meet an agenda. "Normal" can only change if and when we allow is to change, and nothing that's occurred associated with this stupid bug warrants a change. And I for one am not feeling very cooperative in that goal.

Yep, still waiting for my membership refund. And my patience with these people is starting to disappear...

If I were Sam's Club, I would offer 50% off memberships from people who are current Costco members to get them to switch over. The profits are made from membership dues, sales of products cover expenses.

I think Sams is offering basically a free membership. Apparently you pay $45 to get a membership and the first $45 of your purchase is at no charge.

It's an infinite loop of fear. Everyone is feeding off of everyone else's irrational fear. Someone, or more accurately a large group of someones, needs to pull the plug on this leftist, doomsayer, technocrat created hysteria.

A friend of mine just got off of an airplane, and he said there was a large group of asians in full raincoat regalia complete with ski goggles and of course masks. What do you even call that?

If masks work, why do businesses need to be closed?

If they don't work, why are we forced to wear them?

Some of you on here should really pay attention to these questions and figure out some things for yourselves!

Really, why shut down anything ever and stay at home if we can all wander around and be "safe" with a simple mask?

Cuomo reverses course. Cuomo touts New York's decline in hospitalizations, effectively reverses mandate linked to nursing-home deaths

The vast majority of deaths were in nursing homes, instead of using unused Javitz center or Navy ship, he sent them back to die alone in nursing homes. Now he's trying to back track on saying it's the nursing homes job to care for them (they can't, their job is not containing viruses). If they took steps months ago, there would have been far fewer deaths. He effectively said EMTs should be performing brain surgery by sending them back.

Protecting the weakest is the way to save lives, not locking the entire populace up.

Day late, dollar short.

If you're sick, you should wear a mask to keep others from getting sick. They work.

If you're not sick, a mask doesn't do a whole lot of good.

The problem is, you might be contagious before you know you're sick.

I don't blame anyone for wanting people to wear masks, and it's the least egregious thing being asked of anyone at the moment. I haven't worn one, but I almost certainly will have to when I go back to work, so I will. And so fucking what? Of all the things going on right now, this matters the least.

Fauci and CDC chief to quarantine after exposure to White House staff member with coronavirus

https://www.washingtonexaminer...ber-with-coronavirus

Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Robert Redfield have both entered a quarantine after meeting with White House staffers who have contracted the coronavirus.

A few members of the White House coronavirus task force, including FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, are already quarantining after spending time with staff members who have the coronavirus. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, both announced on Saturday that they would be entering quarantine as well.

Fauci, 79, said he had a "low risk" contact with one of the members of staff who contracted the virus and plans to spend two weeks in a "modified" quarantine. Redfield said he would be self-quarantining for 14 days.

At least two members of the White House staff have been tied to coronavirus cases. A valet driver for President Trump tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, and Vice President Mike Pence's spokeswoman, Katie Miller, tested positive for the virus on Friday.

How about if you're sick, STAY HOME!?!
But if someone is asymptotic, and they don't know...

And spreading the virus also depends on how much you rub your eyes, touch your nose, touch things (pen, gas pump, something at a store, a door handle....) then touch your face/nose/eyes...

Heaven forbid someone sneezes 15 feet away from someone else.
The mask is doing a good job, but what about wearing glasses so it doesn't get in the eyes?

So much bullshit information out there, it's amazing.

Unless we're ready to suit up in a Tyvex suit, rubber gloves, booties and full face mask and practice full decom procedures before and after we have any sort of human interaction; a surgical mask, a N95, or Luchador Mask is kinda like putting a bandaid on an arterial bleed-

futile at best.

It's unfortunately apparent that the "false sense of security" trumps common sense in most parts.
Yeah, wearing the mask around your face is doing sooo well! Naaa, rubbing your eyes after you touched the door handle to a public place isn't going to affect you at all! You're good to go!

You want to be amazed? Go to a public place (supermarkets are a real fun spot) and sit back and watch....

Ok, my $0.02 on masks.

Covid 19 is apparently spread most commonly by coughing and/or sneezing by an infected person. Unless of course they're a door knob licker... but I digress.

If an infected person is wearing a mask (properly) and coughs/sneezes, it will likely reduce/eliminate spread from that person from that cough/sneeze. Although some might be infected and not know it. So if everyone wears a mask, the chance of an infected person spewing virus all over is significantly reduced. Not eliminated, nothing is perfect.

So if everyone wears a mask for a few weeks, spread in public might be significantly reduced. Maybe if we'd done this back in February we wouldn't be in these stupid shut downs/lock downs/stay home situations.

Maybe that's all B.S. Hard to tell as every time an 'expert' renders an opinion, others quickly refute it.

Do I wear a mask? Yes. But not for me here is why... The first time I went to a local store and stood in line I watched the cashiers. They were significantly more at ease with people wearing masks and very edgy with those that weren't. I shop the same stores all the time. I know these people. I talk to them in line, as their stocking, or just if I bump into them. I've seen pictures of their kids & grand kids, it's why I continue to shop at these stores. If me wearing a mask makes them more comfortable and less stressed. I'll wear one, no problem.

I'm not wearing it to walk or be outside, and definitely not in the car Roll Eyes
