Saints be praised! You're lucky!

My package, which was supposed to arrive last Thursday, is lost "In transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late" for yet another day according to the USPS tracking number.

Must have been a contractor. I can't believe a federal employee would be delivering mail on a designated federal holiday.

I drove past a major USPS sorting center this afternoon and there were way more cars in the parking lot than I expected to see.

Yeah, they deliver Amazon packages on Sundays and holidays. Part of the Amazon contract.

Nope, this is USPS Ground Advantage envelope, not Express or even Priority. Not Amazon. Don't know how and why. That's why "Hell froze and pigs flew".

I was kidding around with the sender that USPS was trying to atone for their screw-up. Same sender originally sent the important paper previously, but it went into some black hole never to be retrieved again. So, it's only fair that they step up to the plate today. Lol.

We deliver stuff other than Amazon on holidays. We also collect mail from collection boxes and complete pick-ups we normally have during the week.

A little long story, but just updating to add that the original 1st Class envelope that was lost in the black hole was delivered yesterday along with the Ground Advantage one. Unbelievable. Roll Eyes

I retired from the PO. We were treated like dogs! We were told “ if ya don’t like it here, the chicken plant is hiring”. How many suicides where any of you worked? 9 we had 9 in the 30 years I was at my office. Now they’re swamped with Amazon shit. And Amazon bitches a lot about speed! “Your employees hands aren’t moving fast enough. I buy nothing from Amasuck. Auto workers I believe have killed more of their own than the USPS. When the post office is gone like many of you want, your delivery service will get even slower.

Glad you got your package. I ordered two CZ magazines on Dec. 4th. Shipped on the 10th of Dec. I still don't have them. I live in NC, the shipment got to Raleigh on Jan. 7th. Yesterday I tracked it again and my package arrived in Washington DC dist. center.. I have no idea Mad

I mailed a Christmas card to my barber lady on 12/10 ,
( less than a mile away)
Never got to her.

On 1/10/25 I saw it on the local face book page that another barber lady ,here in town had it.

I went and got it from her and hand delivered it.

Why the couldn't return it to sender is baffling.

Now
Do I ask for a refund on my forever stamp ?

Speaking of mail delivery..Today the substitute mailman (our regular mail lady is fantastic) drove his truck up to the top of our driveway instead of walking up from the street. He delivered the package that was too big for the mailbox to the front door. AND he left the 1st class mail in the mailbox down at bottom of driveway! Confused
