I didn't mean to reference the other things she said-as far as eclipses, etc. being signs, but I am also not saying that God doesn't have total control over the events on this Earth, as He is in control of everything. Have we fallen out of favor with God? In my opinion, absolutely. We try to eradicate Him in almost every facet of our lives. Don't get me wrong, I am no perfect being in the slightest or casting judgement on anyone else, I am only forgiven and try to live as close as I can to Him.
If we read in the Bible, things are gonna happen - earthquakes, famine, etc., not just to us but all over and they are gonna get worse. Not everyone believes what's in the Bible and I understand that too, we have free choice. I am no prophet or stating these are signs of the end times or that the things she stated are any indication of that, only that we can read about events like the ones she referenced from the Bible and it tells of what will happen.
I am saying I agree with the part where she said we need to come to God for help and personal salvation. I am not trying to be confrontational either but I think she means well, though it might not be represented that way. This message has been edited. Last edited by: patw,

I disagree. There have always been stupid people. The lack of the internet and social media shielded most of us from their rampant stupidity in the past. Now they radiate like stars and diamonds in a goats asshole.

With Greene, I take the bad with the good. With her, I see the forest through the trees; sure, she says some really odd shit, but she can also be articulate and on-point (see her Tucker interview) and very stubborn when it comes to Democrats and RINOs. And yes, she will verbally go beyond what other polite politicians will publicly say, but many times, she is on the money. And other times, she steps in it.
I would happily take her over a Dan Crenshaw, Tom Rice, Michael Gallagher, Ken Buck. She has been 100% loyal to MAGA and Trump, I'm glad we have her in the House.

Do you think anyone here would say any different? That is not the point I was making.
On Twitter, she got community-noted for her idiotic sanctimony, and then felt the need to reiterate her belief in God. Stupid! Counterproductive damn foolishness.
A real Christian does not walk around in public, draped in their beliefs. Claiming that natural phenomenon are signs of God's wrath was certain to draw fire needlessly. Half of the country is against her, and what does she do? She props herself up ten stories high for mockery. Embarrassing and foolish! Does she stop for even one second to consider what she says publicly? It doesn't appear so, and as far as I'm concerned, that's nothing to be proud of and it's not something we should support. Discretion is called for in public speaking.
Rather than saying that you support her over a bunch of RINOs, how about holding her accountable for her responsibility as a representative of conservative causes? I'm not giving her a pass because she has not earned a pass; quite the opposite.

So much for being a certain vote for conservatism.

Technically, it was a procedural vote on the rules to move the bill to the floor of the house, NOT a vote for or against the FISA re-authorization. While 19 Conservatives voted against, 'some' conservatives (MTG & Jim Jordan to name just a couple), voted in favor so as to move the bill to the floor where 'certain' amendments would/could be voted on, such as to require the FBI to obtain a Warrant in order to surveil/gather intel on American Citizens. This is merely an example of how dysfunctional congress is, especially the Rules Committee and the way it operates.
I would seem that both groups; the 19 Conservatives that voted against and certain other Conservatives that voted in favor, all want the same thing, which is to eliminate Warrantless Surveillance of American Citizens, the difference being how they get there. Unfortunately, it would appear that the Speaker, by his actions, is NOT part of either group though!

Don't like her? That's fine. But liken her mental status to that truly mentally ill guy? Come on.

We may not like the methods but she was right about Johnson. Republicans continue to be led down the wrong path, again.

Met her a hand full of times years ago when I was crossfitting in affiliate gyms and going to competitions. Opened a gym about 50 yards from my old office location.

I would happily take her over ...
I would happily take her over my Congresswoman, Ann Wagner.
Ann always says the right things when she makes an appearance at our Central Committee meetings. I get a sickening sweet [I'm wonderful] email from her every week. But she's more concerned about climbing within the leadership ranks than she is about her constituents. She cried when McCarthy was ousted. She votes for the military industrial complex, every time. She's as responsible for our irresponsible Congress as any Republican.
Is Marjorie Taylor Greene perfect? Of course not. But I'd trade Ann Wagner for her.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
