jelrod1Iphone Incoming call question
Does anyone know of a way to not show the incoming call information while on a locked screen? Where that information is only seen once unlocked. Or at least disable the ability to answer from a locked screen? Thanks
Iphone 6plus
IOS 11.4

cparktdSettings > notifications > phone
Several options there... including show or not show on lock screen.

tatortoddI have the latest iOS so YMMV if you don't have the same iOS:
Open Settings
Choose notifications
Scroll down to phone
Choose phone
In the alerts section, turn off "Show on locked screen"
The simpler way is to not be involved in anything (e.g. dating multiple women) that requires you to worry about the person you're with seeing who is calling.

Or maybe there are business reasons people wouldn't want that to be shown?
And the first rule of dating multiple women is to have a burner phone for each one.

jelrod1Yes it is business reasons. Notifications doesn't seem to control this at all. Only the aftermath notifications, not the incoming call. It was the first thing tried.

What is your setting for "Show Previews?"
I have mine set on "When Unlocked" but there is also "Never" and "Always"

HRKPut phone on vibrate, always place screen down...
Or leave it in your pocket and get an iWatch to screen calls.

jelrod1Mine is set to "when unlocked"
All of that seems to work for the notifications you see after the call has come through. Just doesn't seem to control anything while the call is initially coming through.
You can completely turn off notifications and it still acts the same when a call comes in.

911BossAlternately set phone to “do not disturb” when you do not want to see/answer those calls. If the number isn’t in your contacts as a favorite it will go straight to vm and there will be no screen notification or ring at all
What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

jelrod1Using a combination of do not disturb and a smartwatch/fitbit that will alert notifications may be the only option. I don't see how else to protect the incoming calls. It blows my mind how secure you can make everything else on it but yet anyone can see, and answer, incoming calls.

RHINOWSOI guess I just do it the old fashion way - I leave my phone face down in those situations or if I need it secure and it’s out of my possision, turn it off.
