Let me know what you find out. I know about the museum but had never heard about the PT ride. Kind of like people who live in Chicago but have never been to the museums. I enjoyed the museum shortly after it opened as the D Day museum, but have not been since upgraded to add the Pacific Theater. Steven Ambrose used to live here on the MS. coast for awhile.

I can help. My son and I took a ride for his Christmas present about 6 weeks ago
The ride is little over an hour long. Very cool thing
Get there a bit early. Sit in the seats closest to the door leading out to the boat house. There will be about a 10-15min safety briefing and a little video with some historical back ground
By getting the seats closest to the door you will be the first in line to board. This gets you the 2 stern gun seats, 2 best and driest seats on the vessel imo
The crew are incredibly knowledgeable, can and will answer all questions. There is plenty of time to wander, look at everything and take pictures at the end
Trip runs from lakefront airport to the causeway USCG station and back along the sea wall
I have pictures, but, as with many others photo buckets has been a train wreck and keeps crashing so I can't post them

My girlfriend's brother lives in the condos across the levee from the CG station I'll have to ask him if he's seen it out in the lake hauling butt.

Parallel, If you see this and chime in, I am kinda lookin' for info specific to the vessel.
Anything about the PT boat itself that is not common knowledge?
Best regards,
Tom

We plan a WW-II museum visit in Aug. The PT boat ride sounds very nice, Saturdays only. At $300+ a rider I'll likely pass though.
