Hiking, jeeping, gardening, trout fishing, shooting. I really miss sail boat racing now that I am no longer on the coast in Florida.

My passion has always been riding motorcycles and bicycles (mountain bikes/trail riding mostly)

I was recently VERY fortunate to get a job at my local bike shop. Now my hobby/passion is also my job. I was worried this might influence my interest in biking in a negative way but so far it’s been incredibly fun. The employee discount I receive saved me almost $1000 on a new Scott trail bike too. Big Grin Big Grin

I work with an amazing crew, get to talk to customers all day about my passion. On the busy days or days when I need to assemble lots of bikes/e-bikes the time FLIES BY. We had a lady in the shop last week who is building up nice road carbon wheels for her gravel bike. It was a blast helping her build up her bike to handle road rides as well as gravel. Big Grin

Compared to my old cubicle in a call center my new office is a major upgrade. Cool

These electric bike lifts are so sweet. Especially when working on a heavy e-bike.

On the activity-side, snowboarding, skiing, shooting (of course), climbing and overlanding. I used to telemark ski for about 12-years, I went back to snowboarding 2yrs ago, now with all the advances in backcountry hardware, I'm thinking of revisiting the free-heel movement. I was an active SCUBA diver for a time, I've since let my certs lapse as life has steered me further away from the coast and my dive friends.

On the less intense side, cooking, dining out and traveling. I actually took a weekend job at Williams-Sonoma over a decade ago to build-up my kitchen tool assortment. Travel stimulate my food interests which in-turn inspires me at home.

Antique freak here. I buy, sell, and collect a few antiques and collectibles. It's a nice side hustle, but I probably put in as many hours in a week as I do my regular JOB.
