Remote water main shut off
Looking for some ideas on a remote water main shut off. I have a main shut off that is a bear to get to and this property requires a shut off when not occupied. Thanks

Not sure which one is the best quality, but there are many remote controlled water main shutoff valves. My city uses them with their electronic meters. Grainger has several to choose from and ones that are 120V AC and 12V DC. etc. If you don't want to install a remote one, you can probably install a second main shut off valve really close to where it enters your dwelling and is easy to access.

That's what I'd do. Likely simpler to install, cheaper, not reliant on electricity, and simpler with fewer parts to potentially fail.

Our house has a manual shutoff in the garage.
