From my other thread, I'm looking at replacing my F150 with a smaller, more efficient car. So far, the top 2 on my list, my agent can't give me an accurate quote on, as the 'Rating Symbol' hasn't been issued. So far, he's only been able to give me an estimated rate based on MSRP & model (I assume). He's told me that it's likely the cost will go down once the symbol is issued, but can't say for certain. After an hour or so of Google searches, I gave up. Can a non-ins agent access the rating symbol for automobiles? Mostly curious so I don't need to keep pestering my agent to have him check if it's there yet. I'd rather not go through & buy a car, only to have his estimated rate go up once the symbol is issued for the car. These are both 2018 model cars, and both went through some refresh for this model year (cosmetic on one, cosmetic & new engine on the other). Given that it's May, how long does it typically take for a current MY car to get a defined rate? The Enemy's gate is down. | ||
