We are finishing up our vacation in Maine and would like to buy my dad some live lobster. It s need to survive 2 days of travel. We would be coming down I-95, we are in Bennington, Maine now. Any suggestions? BTW, the place would have to be open on Saturday. ---------- “Nobody can ever take your integrity away from you. Only you can give up your integrity.” H. Norman Schwarzkopf

I used to live up there, and when I was last up there I brought a few home from Taylor Lobster they are just off 95 before you get into NH. they have all the packaging you need. you may want to call ahead to ensure a 2 day drive is OK. I had them boxed for a flight. For more than 24 hours travel, I suggest buying picked meat, or cooked lobsters. I send relatives shipments via overnight delivery only, they never do well longer than that unless they have oxygenated seawater to revive in. There's a non-tourist fish market on Rte 1 in Arundel called "The Lobster Co." That has good prices. https://thelobsterco.com/ Not far off the turnpike (15 minutes off to on, not including the time at the shop) I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.
