So I bought a NEX Playground for the grandkids - it's a physical action based game console.

Curious if anyone else has purchased, how do the kids like it, and I hear lots of adults like it.

Pretty cool game system, no controllers no sitting on your butt for hours staring at a TV or hand held unit.

Pretty cool, it uses optical to capture the position and movements of the players, so the kids have to jump, move arms, and be active.

It comes with 5 basic games, and for $89 I can sign up for an annual subscription with lots more games and updates with new games.

Well they showed up and were excited, the 6 year old of course wants more games, the basic 5 games are ok to start. 3 year old and I played quite a few of them, he got into it and we got an hour out of it. Think I'll bump the games up with the one year subscription for $89.

Spent more than that on a week of cigars at one time, since I stopped smoking them, the budget is there LOL

They'll be back tonight for an early fathers day celebration with the whole crew so we'll see.

It clearly gets kids off their butts and into physical action.
