Thanks, friends. I may try to load calyx on my pixel 3a again. IIRC, I couldn’t get the MicroG thing going. Then adding email accounts was troublesome. I have too many email accounts. I’ll probably just get a new iPhone. But I’ll probably wait until this one dies.

I have a Pixel Pro 7 for a work phone, and an iPhone 13 for personal use. I find my self always using my iPhone. That said I do like the viewing size of the Pixel and it seems faster and does have a great camera. I comes down to I like knowing where all of my settings are, since I’m a longtime iPhone user, I just prefer it. All the apps on the pixel work pretty much the same. If you like to customize the phone, the Pixel is probably a better choice. As I type this, I am thinking the pixel ia has a nicer larger screen. I could easily live with either device.

Good luck! I've messed with Androids and other phones a bit; I guess I'm so sucked into the iPhone universe that I ended up just getting super frustrated with trying to do simple things on them. Plus, work pays for my iPhone. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I was a Samsung guy for a long time, more out of stubbornness. My wife and daughters always urged me to switch to Apple but I resisted. Once I finally did I had to admit it was better, at least for my use. I will stick with Apple until I am blown away by an alternative. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

That's a good point. There are minor differences but they're not worth switching for.
