About 10 years ago my barber was a UPS driver (he only cut hair on Saturday). One of the drivers for the local mall had his truck alleviated of packages while he was dropping off other package . He never locked his truck which was normal practice and the thieves got some Rolex watches that were going to the jewelry store.

Reminds me of the infamous bait trucks in Chicago. The police were criticized for putting out cargo trucks full of Nikes and designer shoes, b/c you can't expect po' folk not to steal from unsecured trucks. That's entrapment!

And then last summer, we had rioters & looters rationalize their theft as reparations.

When the local licquer store was breached last summer, you saw a similar pattern. Flocks of looters rose up out of the woodwork. Vehicles double and triple-parked. Mixed in with the younger thugs were pot-bellied madams, who emerged toting small cases of their favorite tipple, their features hidden by burkas. The AFMS, American Fake Muslim Syndrome.
