I got my Ballot in the AR and almost did what I did last year-throw the thing in the garbage. But I decided to vote for the candidates on the NRA 2.0 and did so.
Hope I did the right thing. I've been a Life Member for a long time, wife is an Annual Member for many years, too. We were gonna move her up to Life after Wayne left, but it seems his influence is still there, so, no way.

In the past, I rarely voted, when things seemed ok within the NRA. Now with the turmoil of the last few years at the forefront, it makes sense vote. If I was an annual member I would not have given consideration to getting a Life membership just to vote. I got my life membership 40 years ago at $300, so I have gotten my money’s worth in the interim.

Those people should stay involved and vote accordingly for the NRA BOD reform candidates. How can it hurt to have an additional organization fighting the anti-gun agenda. (assuming the NRA can get turned around by the reform candidates) I mailed my NRA BOD ballot yesterday. It cost me one USPS stamp.
I agree with you cee Kamp. I mailed my ballot today.
Thanks to everyone here and their advice.

I mailed mine in, voting to upset the apple cart. To make it even sweeter I used a Forever stamp I bought in 2009
If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

It's not over yet, for Wayne.
If you receive any one of the NRA's magazines, take a look at the "Official Journal Programs & Services" page near the end of the May 2025 issue. There is an article titled "NRA Board Acts on Legal Expenses". The BOD has directed the EVP to claw back Wayne's legal expenses going back to 2019.
So, besides the $5M he has to pay back to the NRA, now they're going after his legal expenses. The monetary judgements disqualified him from indemnification under NY law. I hope they slap liens and garnishments on everything they can.
It would also be interesting to know who, if any, on the BOD did NOT vote for this resolution. He still has some 'made' men and women on the BOD - can't vote them out fast enough. This message has been edited. Last edited by: 229DAK, April 30, 2025 02:23 PM

Same here. The NRA hasn’t got an ounce of the fight that GOA, NAGR, 2nd Amend. Foundation and FPC have.[/QUOTE]
I'm lifetime NRA, and SAF, those along with GOA are the ones to support as well as whatever org is strongest in your state.
Not giving up on the NRA, WLP is out, and that's a good step, first year I've voted, these threads helped with information on who to support, for years it was impossible to tell the allegiances of the board members.
