Suggestions for photo hosting, for forums?
Photobucket is now charging people to upgrade their account, if they are going to use the images on forums.

Any recommendations for a different photo hosting site?

And at least two threads on this subject have been locked since there is already a lengthy Photobucket thread, but no one could expected to read through all of that thread.

I would suggest starting at my compilation of free 3rd party sites in that thread which can be found here, https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...720045724#7720045724 , and then reading on from there.

My compilation needs some minor editing, the postimages section needs to be rewritten to mention that it doesn't require registration, and then it looks suitable to me to become either a sticky in The Lounge or in the SIGforum Office.

Also, some members seem to be using Facebook as an image host. I don't do Facebook and am not going to try to test that out.

After I finished the minor editing and rewriting of my compilation, I was going to request guidance from a moderator on what, if anything, to do and where to put the list of known free 3rd party image hosting sites. Since this topic quite vulnerable to being locked, perhaps I can get some input from a moderator here.

imageshack has been good. Especially if you need HTML links for some forums. Or sometimes you like a quick shift in size on a pic already uploaded. It's got a resize by a link request feature. Just flip the drop downs for the size and link type and copy the link. Off you go. I do pay for it though.
