Just wondering if there is a way to upgrade the memory from 32 to 128 and, if so what cost would be involved. My new iPad Air2 is only 32 Gb which is why I have not upgraded to ios 11. I think it is like 8+Gbs which would use up a lot of what is left on my iPad. SigP229R Harry Callahan "A man has got to know his limitations". Unfortunately no. When it comes to Apple, buy the biggest memory you can afford. There is no upgrading "i" products. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

That's what I was afraid of, so I guess I probably will not be upgrading to 11, at least no time soon. SigP229R Harry Callahan "A man has got to know his limitations". Teddy Roosevelt "Talk soft carry a big stick" I Cor10: 13 "1611KJV"

Wait, what? |
I have a friend that has a newer iPad Mini 2; he reported a significant drop in battery life and some apps that will no longer work because they now need to be 64 bit. iOS11 uses a new file system that is optimized for flash storage. After the OS is installed, I bet you see an increase in available storage. Like already mentioned, 11 is 64 bit only. First update all your apps to current versions, then you can check the compatibility with iOS11 of your installed apps by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Applications. On iOS 10.3.3, there will be a "greater than" sign by the application number. Click that, and you'll see what won't work with 11. Take it to an Apple store and see if they will exchange it for one with more memory. I think they do this but of course they will charge you and arm and leg.
