I do the opposite. I don’t put anything on the house or in the lawn year round so there is nothing to do.

TRIOMy work allows three carry over vacation days from the previous year that must be used before May. I always use one each for Jan, Feb, & Mar just to break up the bleak winter.

wrightdWhen I took the live xmas tree out of the house, it dropped a bunch of needles all the way to the door, but when I laid it in the street for pickup, it hasn't dropped any needles at all in the street. I'm officially in the twilight zone.

FredwardThis year it was easier. The kids are long gone. The last cat is gone. There was no one to decorate for except me and the wife. She dragged a patio chair into the living room, threw a Christmas themed tablecloth over it and a couple of garlands. A couple days after Christmas we rolled up the tablecloth and tossed it in the attic. As far as the rest of the world, all I want is my restaurants to be open and relatively uncrowded.

Umm, the clocks are correct now.
“Daylight saving time” from March-Nov is the bastardization of time.
