I think the Chief was clear on his point - “Not going to happen again!”
He has given fair warning… and I expect violent protests will be stopped quickly. There are ways to inflict discipline without leaving obvious signs… enough said.
Emotionally, I like the escalating rubber bullet theory, but I don’t want Ferguson burned down.

That's a policy I think I could live with, I think.
God bless America.

Wow, tell you SEAL friend good job but if that happened he would have lost his job, his house, probably his family, and definitely his freedom. In the early days of the Saint Mike Brown Riots (the ones immediately after his demise during the lie of "hands up, don't shot"), there were snipers deployed using rubber bullets but a Federal District Judge ruled that the Police couldn't do that. A ruling by the way that was never reversed. So, fire a rubber bullet and get a violation of Civil Rights law charge. Of course I am sure the current Justice Department (remember this is the Holder era where he ORDERED ALL St. Louis area Justice Department employees to attend Saint Mike's funeral) wouldn't go after you with the full weight of the Federal Government and you wouldn't end up in solitary confinement for 2 or 3 years while awaiting trial. Another Federal District Judge said the police couldn't use Tear Gas except under very extreme circumstances. Then there was a ruling on kettling and how many times to give a dispersal order/warning and how much time the police had to give the rioters to disperse.
I could go on, telling you about the adventures of Capt. "Hug A Thug" Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol (remember the black guy they brought in to calm the people and folks). About how he said his first night in charge was very quiet and nothing happened.....except 3 Highway Patrol Vehicles were shot up, 3 Troopers were injured. Later Hug A Thug was "still in charge" but all he did was sit in a corner of the Command Post and did nothing while others did the work. This message has been edited. Last edited by: jsbcody,

I recall Capt. Ron Johnson standing beside perennial race-baiter Al Sharpton and attorney for the family Benjamin Crump at Greater Grace Church where he gave a speech which essentially made him an apologist for BLM, Antifa and other such unsavory groups and individuals.

I heard he was improving but nothing definite yet. Now whether he will make a full recovery or have issues, there has been no information yet and probably wont be any for a long time.

Thanks for the update. Head injuries are no joke, and I feel for the family as they go through this. Sitting by a bedside for days clinging to every eye movement or finger twitch and hoping that your lived one will wake up is an exhausting and gut-wrenching ordeal. A family friend recently passed away after several weeks in a coma from falling and hitting his head playing basketball in his driveway. Praying for a better outcome for Officer Brown.

^^^^ I’m very sorry to hear of the recent loss of your friend from a similar type of injury. I hope Officer Brown makes a full recovery without any deficits.
