We had them in the DC area last Monday. They were advertised as flying over area hospitals to honor health workers. Since we are only about 1/4 mile from a big hospital, the wife and I camped out in the backyard at the scheduled time. They sent one single F-16 all by itself, flying low and slow. Nice to see, but not much of a "show."

Supposed to flyover the Woodlands (N Houston) around 12:30.

We're about 2-3 miles east of the flyover path, not sure if we'll try to get to a viewable spot, I imagine parking lots will be crowded...

The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds together flew right over my house last week. A thrill every time we see them.

Thanks for the heads up. My house is perhaps a few miles from their flight path, maybe I'll get a glimpse.

Yeah, y’all south of the Red River get the Big Show.

Up here, north of the Red River, Altus AFB sent a flight of C17 Globemasters and a flight of the new KC46 Pegasus refueling Tankers. Vance AFB sent a flight of the T-6A Texans, T38’s, and a flight of the Raytheon T-1 Jayhawks.

They all flew the same route which was was along the hospitals. I live between 2 of the big hospitals so I was able to see them very close up from my back yard.

I’ve seen the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds many times, and they’re great, but I really enjoyed the C17’s yanking and banking in the turns overhead to head down to the next hospital, and also it was great seeing the new Tanker fly.

The cool thing is, my Veterinarians Wife flew the C17 while on active duty and is now in the Reserves teaching students at Vance. She’s awesome!

‘Murcia!

If you scroll down to about the 21st pic you’ll see a great shot of the C17, one behind the other, one in a pretty step banking turn. I like that pic. Pics link, go for the 21st pic, if I counted right
.

We have an F16 squadron located at the Tulsa International Airport. Last week they were suppose to fly over our local hospital at a time specific......and they didn't. At precisely the right time, they flew over the "old" hospital which hasn't been used as such in over forty years. Hmn, maybe need a little work on basic skills such as map work?

According to the flight plan, the closest they will be to me is about 4 miles west. I doubt I'll see much of them (but I'll look).

Yep.... I hear that they'll be flying right down LA61 (Airline Highway) in the River Parishes about 1:45 pm or so. My house is about a mile and a half from that, so I'm going to be out there with a camera to see if I can get a decent photo and/or some video.

They show to be flying directly over my daughter’s apartment southwest of Houston, but she will be cutting it close to be able to view them since her lunch break ends right about the time they should be flying over. Even though she’s working from home, she is on a tight leash. If so, she’ll send me a video of it. Sad the event was cancelled for us in the Austin/San Antonio area.

Depending which map you look at it appears they will be over the McKinney's HS stadium.

It's close so I may take the boy out to watch for them.

I'm 2.7 miles from the western edge of their flight path in the Houston area. Despite the warning, I'm going to take a short drive to get a better look. I haven't seen the angels in a while, or any F-18 for that matter!
