Well, I had forgotten about it, but as IrishWind alluded, this fascist little bastard and his fascist buddies did have arm bands they wore for a while, and yes, this raising of his right arm looks for all the world like a Nazi salute, except for the closed first. In an earlier time in this world, this anti-American son of a bitch would fit in with the Brown Shirts in the streets of Berlin. Some people crave power so badly, they don't care how they go about getting it, and this jerk thinks that standing on the bodies of his dead classmates was the way to get it. Dave goes yachting. He's a privileged dork, who grew up being told he was special, and smart, and important, and probably wasn't told "no" a lot, and if he was it was because some outside evil force was making it so. He's a good little puppet, who thinks he's in control, but he'll learn, once he stops being useful, or becomes more trouble than he's worth. I still say it's just a matter of time before he says the wrong thing to some girl, puts his hand somewhere he maybe shouldn't, and if he's lucky he'll just disappear without a lot of fanfare. In the meantime, we'll have to suffer with him smugly farting into a microphone, like he's Done Something™.
