Take kosher salt, mixed about 1/2 & 1/2 with chipotle pepper, and sprinkle on fresh pineapple. Amazingly delicious! Was taught this on a trip to the Playa del Carmen (I think, many years ago, from a cruise excursion) many years ago as how the local ate it.
