And my wife wonders why I won't allow her to hire a cleaning service.

I’ll chip in...to build the trebuchet we can launch the bitch back over the border with, kids included (wouldn’t want to split up the family).

Say no more.

One day I want to sit on a jury in a criminal case.

You got that right..... Big Grin
Not worth your time going to Court since the Judges only know a slap on the wrist.

I had one Judge in Charlottesville tell me he knew all about radar since he was in the Navy. Big Grin

I had a pickup pass me going up Afton Mountain and they gave me a ticket for speeding. Just don't drive a Corvette and you won't be a target.

So I come home to go to Court for the ticket and on the way back that night a VW passed me and turned off on a long stretch of road north of Charlottesville and I get another ticket. Mad It was the VW and not me. A Corvette has to be within 250 feet to get a reading.

Instead of jail time, the jury sentenced her to a $60 fine.

Confused Juries pass sentence in criminal cases?

This pisses me off on many levels...

Years ago I had a brand new (1 week old) $3000 Dell laptop stolen by cleaning lady, had her clear as day on camera, she was found and arrested. I made it clear I wanted to prosecute the the fullest extent...I forget what the initial sentance was but It was more that I thought so I was happy.

Fast forward 30 days and I get notice that since she was illegal she was being released and shipped back to Mexico. But wait there's more! She had been kicked back across the border a few times and get slithered back!

The only bright spot oin this was her employer, Coverall Cleaning Services, boasted about using only bonded and insured people which is hard to do what they are illegal and have a past criminal record. The President of the company was a jackass at first until I shared this little tid bit of info with him and had a friend with a local Fox affiliate call him and act like she was doing a story! I had a check in 2 days.
