Shep Smith tried making a name for himself reporting from New Orleans after Katrina. IIRC he blamed President Bush for everything, when in reality it was the failure of LA state and NOLA city government to do their jobs that was responsible for much of the very poor emergency response. I stopped watching him after that. I was in Biloxi and could see what was happening, and Smith was dead wrong.
