I remember the high rise affordable housing in Chicago, AKA the projects. They looked like shit in a year because the residents did not take care of them. My father explained that these people were given free housing and as a result did not take care of them. Government housing he called it. Those high rises became centers for crime.
Kim Foxx grew up in Cabrini Green and should know better. If I recall correctly a horror film, Candyman was filmed in Cabrini Green. Made it extra frightening.
