When I bought my house, the sump pump was hooked up to an outside hose which went back underground. My only guess is that there's a sub-terranean drainage field there. That side of the yard is higher than the other.
Couple years ago, I replaced the sump pump as it wasn't working right, and I ran the hose to another area of the yard. Always thought it would be nice to scope the original outlet to see if in fact it was a drainage field, but didn't want to incur the fees for someone to do it.
Enter today's Woot offering: endoscopes.

here...I ordered a pair of them, and for the price, I figure I can't go wrong. They're almost 90% off according to the $230 retail they list.
Thought I'd let others know to help spend their money.
Would make a great bore inspection tool probably.

GustoferThat's really cool. I had no idea they were so cheap. No Apple compatibility on Woot so I ordered one from Amazon.

It is long past time for a Convention of States. The Founding Fathers gave us this tool to fix an out of control government and we need to use it.

Which one did you get? I could REALLY use this to look in the wall stud pockets to find dead mice. I get them from time to time here in the woods.
I went to Amazon and was befuddled by all the choices.

GustoferI went with
this one. I considered getting a longer one, but I figured I'd try this out first and if it works great I'll get another if need be. 12ft will do 99% of what I'd want to do with it.
