I know we’ve discussed the general Costco vs. Sam’s Club feelings around here before; and our house is solidly in the Costco camp. That said I have a Sam’s Club card as well for work as I can buy a pallet of 16.9 oz water bottles for about 20% of what it costs to have a vendor deliver it. Anyhow, had occasion to need some paper products while I was in there and picked up paper towels, TP, and those square “picnic” napkins. All I can say is the Member’s Mark paper products are far superior to the Kirkland branded stuff. Especially the TP, seems to be much softer and more quilted. Anyone else find this holds true? This message has been edited. Last edited by: SigM4, Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view. Complacency sucks…

The paper products are why we keep our Sams Club membership, much superior to Costco. We go to Sams just to get paper products. Costco for everything else. ____________________________ NRA Benefactor Life Member GOA Life Member Arizona Citizens Defense League Life Member

I would keep my Sam's just for their Premium toilet paper because it's soft yet strong and falls apart in water quickly. Saves low volume toilets from those inconvenient plug ups. _________________________________________________ "Once abolish the God, and the Government becomes the God." --- G.K. Chesterton

Not a Sam's member. But A Costco member. I find the Costco paper towels satisfactory, but their toilet paper sucks. They do sell Charmin toilet paper and that is what I buy (as well as the paper towels). What is the cost difference between the Sam's paper products and the Charmin that Costco sells?

Not sure what you’re buying the Charmin for but the big pack of Member’s Mark TP is about $18.50. Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view. Complacency sucks…

I don't remember the exact price. They sell 2 different styles of Charmin.....1 at a time....it just varies which one they have.....ultra strong or another one. They also usually have $4-5 off the Charmin every other month it seems......I'll have to look at the price, but somewhere around $21-22 seems to ring a bell.

probably a good thing I don't have a cut |
Looks like Members Mark is the better deal. 50% more rolls for less money than Charman at Costco. At least on their websites. Charman at Costco Members Mark at Sams Club

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should |
Most of those products have a unit price so you can accurately compare. The packaging can make it hard to compare otherwise. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

I like Costco Kirkland tp. 425 2-ply sheets to the full width roll means less changing. Plenty soft enough for me. ________________________ God spelled backwards is dog
