Yup, steaks look great! I am not sure about now, but long ago I used to buy Dr.Pepper with cane sugar in stores in Stephenville, TX from the Dublin, TX plant. I never saw it available in a can but I rarely drink soda so something may have changed and I haven't been to Stephenville in over 15 years.

I have a remote meat thermometer I use.
I know EXACTLY the temp of the meat.

Walmart has the DP's right now.
They are amazingly good even in a can!

I like the tag line: "Made with Sugar"

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Unfortunately Dr. Pepper Corporate decided it would be a good idea to start a tiff with the Dublin Bottling Company that used to produce the "Dublin Dr. Pepper". As a result they no longer make it, a shame as it was truly a step above corn syrup sweetened DP. DP Corporate now produces the pure sugar variety, but it just doesn't taste as good as the old Dublin DP in the small glass bottles.

Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.
