I was at the Royal Marines memorial a few years back on our Remembrance Day, and halfway through the two-minute silence a cellphone rang with some indeterminate tune or other. The owner answered it for about ten seconds, the amount of time it took a Royal to get to him, snatch it out of his hand and ram it into his open gob.
