Ok, this is the funniest thing I've seen in a LONG time. I'm a history major, focusing on WWII, and I have never before heard of this 'wolf angel' thing, and I never would have associated it with Nazism.
BUT,
This serves them right. I question the judgment of anybody who would run right out and get a tattoo for this kind of reason. These are the same people who fall for the yearly April Fools jokes, and end up microwaving their iPhones or drilling new 'headphone jacks' into them.
Oh, and they claim to stand for understanding - this line sums up that attitude: "The same crowd that would ruin your life for a decade-old tweet are getting a taste of their own medicine."

I get the schadenfreude, but calling a Z with a crossbar a Nazi symbol seems like a stretch. That's how handwritten Zs look in most of Europe.
The wolfangel thing, maybe, but the tattoo they're getting is a Z with a crossbar, not a wolfangel.
Maybe the trolling part is convincing them it's a Nazi symbol.
