Stunned parents some are not allowed
If you spend less than three hours a week with your teenage child,
if you can not name the subjects that your child is in , in school.
if you can not name four of your childs friends

if you do not know any of the grades your child is getting

if you have not gone somewhere with your child in more than 6 days

if you can't name a show that he watch's on tv

if you do not know any of the teachers names

you are not allowed to be "Stunned" when your child ends up in cuff's or in a chalk out line.
just skip the dramatic camera show

That's a detail oriented list. I'm not sure I knew what subjects I had when I was actually attending school.

Good post, makes me feel good about myself.
I knew lots of coworkers who felt that it was the wife's job to raise the kids.
They must have thought they were just there for stud service.

I agree with bendable's analysis. Both my parents took an active role in my upbringing and education, although neither had a degree. Without being a braggart, I think they did a pretty good job.

I am just tired of seeing them be "stunned" on the tv.

I know it's not easy , I know it can be a small slice of hell on occasion, I know life is not fair.

but there are parameters, and the a fore mentioned are just a few of those
