Rule #3: Thoroughly inspect the area where the machine is to be used and remove all stones, sticks, wires, bones, and other foreign objects.

Well, if you’re in a rural area, you’ll often find bones. Cow bones, deer bones, etc. Heck, under the sycamore tree by the barn, there are a bajillion small critter bones. Dunno if it is an owl (or an owl family) or some other raptor, but they scatter a ton of mice, etc bones under the tree.

True story:
Years ago, one of my sons says, “Dad, let’s go look for dinosaur bones in the woods.” We start walking in the woods and I kid you not, two minutes later he yells out “I found some!" He found a deer skeleton. I’m thinking let’s go find a Ferrari now and maybe we’ll wind up with a Mustang.

Never hit anything too rowdy with DR Field and Brush Mower.
However once was bush hogging with the Ford 3600 most of it was about 5’ high.
Went over a kinda fresh dead deer, that was pretty nasty.

You need a pretty tough machine for cutting and mowing brush. You are going to hit things. You probably don't want to set it too low... Wink

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Someone near my dad let him cut their hay field & bale it to keep & sell. He found a fire hydrant that's basically been lost for decades at the edge of this field. Luckily wasn't going very fast when he found it. Just stopped the tractor in its track slowly booping it.

He's been on farm machinery from before he could walk. So he was smart enough to crawl through that area in low speed it was so grown up.
